The children at Ilsington C of E School are taught in three Key Stages.

 

• Our pre-school includes children from age two to four years
• The Reception children are aged 4 and 5 years.
• Key Stage 1 covers Years 1 and 2. These are our 5 - 7 year olds.
• Key Stage 2 covers Years 3 - 6. These are our 7 - 11 year olds.

 

The classes for the academic year 2024/25 are as follows:

• Pre-school led by Mrs Cacchione
• Foundation Stage are taught by Miss Hartnell
• Years 1 and 2  are taught by Miss Willis
• Years 3 and 4 are taught by Mrs Halewood
• Years 5 and 6 are taught by Mrs Billington & Miss Williams

The school is committed to differentiating teaching and learning to meet the needs of all children. This means that teachers match tasks, support and resources according to the individual needs of pupils. For some of their school day, children may work in groups. The group are structured depending on the learning task or level of need. At other times, the children will work individually or as a whole class
