At Ilsington CE Primary School, our designated safeguarding lead is Miss Kat Williams who is a Level 3 trained safeguarding lead. She is supported by Mrs Laura Billington our Deputy Safeguarding Lead and Mrs Christine Cacchione who runs Woodhouse Preschool, both of which are Level 3 trained.  

All of our staff, our local board members and our regular school volunteers are DBS checked and undertake Level 2 safeguarding training on an annual basis. We also provide monthly safeguarding training and updates to ensure that all those safeguarding children at our school have up to date, relevant and comprehensive understanding of safeguarding. Our staff all undertake Prevent training annually too.
