Owlacombe Class (Yr 5 & 6)

We are Owlacombe class , the oldest in our school  we are years five and six and we are taught by Mrs Billington (and Mrs McCarthy on Fridays). We are the house captains and sports leaders in our school, we also run lunchtime activities and enjoy having time to listen to younger readers. We are proud of the important role  we take in supporting the younger children in our school.

If you would like to see more of what we are learning and the fun that we have in Owlacombe, why not look us up on the school's weekly SWAY newsletter?

We have our own section each week and you will find lots of pictures and examples of our learning.

You can find it on this website on the Newsletter tab.
At Ilsington, we have a relational  approach to behaviour management. We encourage our children to reflect on and discuss any disagreements or issues they may experience during their time in school, with adults providing support and guidance. We only have three rules in our school and each class takes time to discuss how Respect, Ready, Safe will look in their class and agree their own class charter together.
We recently had music sessions with Kip Pratt, click on the file to hear what we created.
